Mathematical Science Degree Requirements

Mathematical Sciences Option
This option provides a firm background in mathematical sciences, in support of various career goals.
- For students entering the prgram in Fall 2013 or later.
- For students who entered the prgram between Fall 2009 and Spring 2013.
Secondary Education Option
A graduate with this option is prepared to teach mathematical studies in secondary school or to pursue a graduate degree in Mathematics Education. This option provides the courses required for certification with the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
