    Teaching Interests

My teaching specializations are in the areas of computer security, database, and operating systems. I am also interested in computer organization and architecture. I enjoy teaching beginning programming classes.

    Research

My main research interests are in object-oriented database systems and security, operating systems security and concurrency control, the active learning paradigm, and total quality management in the classroom. I developed a multilevel security model for object-oriented database systems and have investigated object-oriented querying and transaction concurrency. I have also done some auguring of the Internet.

    Selected Works

One of my current research goals is to find collaborators a bit closer to home. If what I'm doing looks interesting, get in touch.
