Fishing Photos

[Last updated 3.3.2013]

Tim is an avid (rabid?) fisherman. Linda enjoys fishing as well. We've done a few fishing trips, not only locally, but to Minnesota, Alaska and Canada. Our Canadian trips have been to Saskatchewan, where we stayed at Minor Bay Lodge. Our Alaskan fishing trips have been with Midnight Sun Trophy Pike Adventures.

What's Here

In Alaska, we fish with Midnight Sun Trophy Pike Adventures. The Midnight Sun is a houseboat. You fly to the houseboat and live on it for the entire fishing period. You are taken out in smaller boats during the day. This is great pike fishing! And if you want to fly fish for pike (which we did) it's great! This is all catch and relase. Our largest fish so far: Tim had several 48 inch northerns on his 8wt flyrod; Linda caught a 48 inch on a bait casting rod, a 43 inch on a 7wt fly rod, and a 44 inch on a 9wt rod. The Alaska page has photos from these fishing trips, and includes some nice pictures of Alaska in general.

The Canada page has some nice photos of 45, 46, and 47 inch northern pike. The Minnesota fishing photos contain photos taken mostly around the Longeville, MN area (including Woman Lake, Lake Inguadona, Wabedo Lake, and some others) and shows Tim with a nice muskie. Our Pond has photos from fishing in our farm pond, and shows Linda with a 12 3/4" blue gill! The Misc photos include pictures from fishing trips to the Chesapeake Bay, the Yellow Breeches, and other locations, including ice fishing.
