Horse Photos

[last updated 3.3.2013]

We currently have three horses: Annie, a triple registered Rocky Mountain, Mountain Pleasure, and Kentucky Mountain red chocolate mare; Shiloh, a registered Mountain Pleasure red chocolate gelding, and Ellie, a registered Tennessee Walking Horse sorrel mare.

We call Annie and Shiloh our "Mountain Goats." We've had horses for many years, but Mountain horses are truly different! They are extremely people-oriented and very curious. It's not uncommon to have one steal a hammer or a water bottle while we are out working. They eat multifloral rose and other brambles. They are superb trail mounts and all around great horses.

What's Here

There are pages of photos for each horse: Annie, Shiloh, and Ellie. In addition, there is Past Horses,a page for the horses we no longer have. We moved to Pennsylvania with four beautiful TWH mares, but lost three of them: Missy, Shelby, and Brandy. We bought a very nice TWH gelding, Dusty, an donated him as a therapeudic riding horse for children -- he's perfect for that job! The Misc page contains some photos from trail rides, horses in the pasture, nieces on horses, etc.
